Really Good Buy!
I just received this wakizashi a couple days ago. And for the excellent price ($28.00) that Knife Center offers this piece for, it's a very good buy. It'seems it's weight is a bit heavier than what was expected and the quality is good. It wasn't as sharp as what it could have been, but after sharpening it's really sharp now. I haven't tested it on water filled plastic bottles, rolled bamboo or on foiliage.. As a collectors piece it fits my need a quite well. I wouldn't recommend paying the msrp of $54.00. But at the $28.00 Knife Center price, it is HIGHLY recommended! ! The only thing that could have been made better is the strap on the sheath. But considering the price I have absolutely no issues with it.
