The Julio Diez-designed Apex is based on the versatile Latin-style machete with some extra curves thrown in, and a quarter-inch thick blade for greater chopping power. The broad shape of the blade carries plenty of weight through its swing, and works well when grabbing it with both hands for draw-knife work as well. The handle also provides plenty of room even for larger hands to extract maximum power out of the knife

Included is a Kydex sheath with belt attachment as well as a pair of D-rings that you can use to attach the included and sling the whole package over your shoulder. A padded nylon zip pouch is also included.
