Blade geometry is kept extremely simple for ease of sharpening and facilitating the deep bites only a chopper can deliver. The broad belly leads straight into the spine, creating a surprisingly efficient tip while not sacrificing strength. We give you the maximum effective striking area while batoning with no concern for tip breakage. 

With multiple grip options and the ability to choke up on the blade, you'll find that although it's pretty hefty, it's also very controllable for the lighter-duty tasks.
