The Field Torq Viscerator is a serious skinning tool measuring in at only 7-1/2". The 8Cr13MoV stainless 3-1/2" primary blade and 3" secondary blade act like a gut hook, slicing easily through the hide. Ergonomic handle design and finger contour feels natural and substantial for full control of the field dressing process. Handle is made of virtually indestructible resin infused laminated hardwood. Full tang construction with dual mosaic pins and a lanyard gusset. Easily sharpens with a fillet knife sharpener and comes with a brown leather sheath.

The Viscerator's dual blades serve three distinct functions: gut hook, pelvic bone splitter, and utility knife. The Viscerator is virtually the only tool you will ever need for completely field dressing big game.

Safer to Use

The Viscerator 's pattented design uses the revolutionary concept of opposing blades. This inward-facing blade designprotects the user by eliminating all exterior cutting surfaces. No other knife has this feature.

How to Use

Start by rolling the animal onto its back, and using the Viscerator, puncture the hide just below the sternum. Next, with the larger blade just under the hide, push the knife down to the base of the tail and back up the other side of the genitals. Then, optionally, split the pelvic bone with the smaller blade below and the larger blade above the pelvic bone. Pulling the handle straight up “anchors” the downward sloping blade tip into the bone and the smaller blade easily comes through from the bottom of the pelvic bone by the force of leverage, splitting the bone with EXTREME prejudice! Move the knife forward and repeat until the pelvic bone is completely split. Splitting the rib cage is easy as well. Straddle the animal facing the tail end, place the larger blade underneath the breastbone, then cut using a "hiking" motion.
