A 3.25-inch drop point blade gives users plenty of edge for cutting tasks. High-end CPM-20CV blade steel provides reliable edge retention and corrosion resistance. Scratches blend in with the blade's BlackWash finish. Black G10 is machined on both the front and back of the handle.
The 0357BW is an assisted knife, featuring ZT's SpeedSafe system. Simply pull back on the flipper to easily open the knife every time. The blade locks into place with a rock-solid liner lock. In my review of the Working Finish version of this knife, I told you I would probably be buying the Black Washed version as well, so here it is; ditto on all the plus points of the WF knife, but to my mind, the BW blade has the edge on the WF in the aesthetics dept. I will most likely carry and use the Working Finish, and relegate the the Black Washed to my pristine collection! Great Knife!

I use this knife around the ranch, cutting bailing twine every day and other tasks as they come up from leather tack to weeds. The G10 scales provide a sure grip, even wet. The blade stays sharp long and is relatively easy to sharpen with my old Arkansas stones and a steel. The point is extremely sharp, I lightly pricked my finger on it once and it drew a drop of blood just like a diabetes blood test lancet. I never had a knife with a tip that sharp before. The clip is very tight, perhaps too tight. The other day I noticed a pair of work Levis I bought 3 months ago have a hole in the front pocket right where the clip fits. This is a heavy knife that I work with. When I'm going to town, I carry a lighter one. But overall, I'm very pleased. I have had some of my knives for 50 years and this one will definitely outlive me.
