Pros: Durability, Ease of Use, Effectiveness, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Performance of real whet stone at a fraction of the cost.
I have been sharpening knives for over 15 years with bench stones only. One of the characteristics for a good polishing stone is to be able to build up a slurry quickly and should not feel "sticky" when moving the blade along the surface. The stone is fairly long lasting and the first stone lasted 7 years of weekly use.

Gets knives very sharp quickly, but requires some practice
For what I paid for this stone, I am tremendously satisfied with what it can do and how long it can last. It will get your knives more than hair shaving sharp with the proper sharpening technique. Be warned that it took me a few months to learn how to use this stone properly, in the first few weeks I was only making my knives blunt until it couldn't cut paper, but after learning how to use it and some practice, I can effortlessly make any knife sharp enough to slice the skin of my callouses off.
