Pros: Effectiveness, Durability, Overall Quality, Ease of Use
Cons: None
Performance of real whet stone at a fraction of the cost.
I have been sharpening knives for over 15 years with bench stones only. One of the characteristics for a good polishing stone is to be able to build up a slurry quickly and should not feel "sticky" when moving the blade along the surface. The stone is fairly long lasting and the first stone lasted 7 years of weekly use.
