Thick Blade
Like many Chinese-made blades, this folder has a thick blade with a flat grind. Initial sharpness is good but I foresee as the blade is sharpened, the area behind the edge will get thicker. It will need to thinned then. In comparison, my Spyderco Yojimbo 2 also has a thick blade at the spine but is hollow ground and hence thin behind the edge. Also, the Ravine’s blade is much heavier than the handle and the balance of this knife is forward.
