Little beauty

I really like this knife for the price. The first thing to notice is that it’s a small knife, but it still feels good in my large hand. Flipper action is good, weight is light, fit and finish are top notch. Really smooth finish on the flat grind that they say is satin but almost a mirror finish. Carbon fiber handle, awesome. Indigo blue metal components, beautiful. Locking mechanism, unique. The only thing I don’t like about the knife is that the lanyard kind of gets in the way. I don’t have a lanyard on any of my other knives so this is new to me. I could probably take it off and it would be fine, but the ability to lock the blade open or closed with the pin is a nice (but not necessary) feature. Almost feel guilty giving this 4/5 stars being such a high-quality knife for the price… but that lanyard…

Stunningly Beautiful

This knife is the first I've bought for it's beauty, and it doesn't disappoint. Pictures fail to capture it's allure, the lines, the materials, the finish, simply stunning. Functionally, it does fall a little short. The blade detent is very light, too light imo. Pulling and reinserting the locking peg is therefore required, which makes the knife very fiddly. It definitely takes two hands to put it into full operation. Once the peg is in, it's rock solid. The peg snaps in securely, secure enough that I "need" the lanyard to pull it out. My use case is as a dress/gentleman's knife. So, I don't typically mind having to go through the extra steps. It gives me more opportunity to enjoy its beauty. Even so, I'd much rather it have the liner lock of the "lower" versions.

A Fun Little Knife

Apon first glance at the knife, I was blown away. The blade finish is amazing, surprisingly good for a $100 knife. The titanium backspacer, pocket clip and inlays are also fantastic looking. The marble carbon fiber handles are beautiful, and perfectly textured. I've carried it a bit and the blade has been a laser. The blade stock is thin so it's very slicey. The detent is too soft in my opinion, I feel comfortable using it without fear of slicing my fingers off. If you know it's there your grip accounts for that and you hold it in a way that the blade won't close. That being said I would not hand this knife to another person who just needs a knife. With the detent being as soft as it is, it is quite easy to accidentally close the blade on someone who doesn't expect it. I'm new to landyards so that took some getting used to. The lock pin works well and can be used when either open or closed which I think is cool. This knife really knocks it out of the park at this price. This isn't going to be a do everything knife but it will definitely be a ultra classy edc.
