The KnifeCenter Exclusive ArtisanCutlery Archaeo is a slim flipper with smooth lines and a light touch. The 2.875" drop blade is made from premium CPM-S35VN stainless steel and features a slim piercing point. The blade deploys smoothly and quickly thanks to the integrated ball bearings in the pivot and a nice, strong detent. The shape of the handles lock the knife firmly into your grasp and give purchase to any cutting task you might need it for. Now for what really make this knife special. It is a Double Detent Slipjoint model, which we've seen before, but it's the first of its kind to include a way to firmly lock the blade. The included lanyard has a bit threaded on it that can be placed into the hole on the backside of the handle, locking the blade in place. This allows you to have a locking knife which also can be carried in restrictive localities by removing the lanyard, rendering it a non-locking knife.
