Benchmade Mini Crooked River

I use my MCR as my edc knife. I love the fit and finish Benchmade puts into their knives. The knife is as expected.

Great knife, first Benchmade

I was introduced to the 940 and fell in love with the Axis lock! Had to have one but couldn't copy my friend on the first one. Out of all the other Benchmades this was the one that really stood out in other reviews and I have to defer as this is mainly an EDC piece used for light work. However, from the use I've had with it I highly recommend.

my first Benchmade

I'm not a hunter and only use my knives for regular EDC tasks. Cutting stuff, eating etc... I find myself fidgeting with the opening system. I really like the size of this knife and its style which is a balance between traditional and modern. I love the shape of the blade. The axis locking system is very smooth especially after a drop of oil on the pivot. The only 2 things somewhat negative I'll have to say about this knife are: - its price is a little too high (compared to other knives I would put it in the $160 range). - the blade wasn't centered (and I'm still trying to figure out how to center it).

Love it! ...But

I love everything about this knife, save the ugly orange spacer in the back of the handle. Everything else is great! I bought this as a gift and now I'm thinking I should have gotten two!
