Any resistance to blade delopement should knock it off track

Modern OTF knives are designed to knock themselves off track whenever there is an object in the blade's path when its actuated. In this way if the knife is accidentally deployed in a pocket the blade is less likely to harm the user. Usually pulling the blade out by hand as far as possible will allow it to get back on track. If the knife needs to be used to stab something, while on track, it can only do so after the blade is locked in its open position. I hope this helps.

auto opening and closing mechanism has failed

the autocrat is a nice knife. however, the blade has fell off track within 2 days of minimal uses. its upsetting me that for the money I paid I ran into this problem. i have emailed knife center for help on this as the warranty states that that purchase of the bench made autocrat by seller: bench made is covered under warranty so i'm left with knife centers to resolving this issue.

Garbage

Super thin blade that flexes. Mediocre steel for price. If you "over tighten" the screws it will fail to deploy. Spongy trigger. Not a fan of the chisel grind personally. Great look and ergonomics but overall cheaply made for price and competition. Get a microtech or Heretic.

Absolute rip off

I'll be taking this knife out in this mornings trash! Shame on you benchmade you've made yourselves look like fools from being one of the absolute best knife makers in the business or that's what I thought until I got ahold of this sorry excuse for an otf!
