Awesome Flipper, smooth and with a very solid lock up. I love the blade design and the G10 handles it feels amazing. What I love about this knife is that it can look so ordinary, people that is afraid of knives (Shame...) wont even notice it, but any knife guy will want to look and fiddle it. I am one of those a knife must serve a purpose guy's, so here is my 10 cents worth, This knife is not an Outdoors knife that you hammer the crap out of everyday, its a Gentleman's folder... Its for eating steak, opening letters and impressing the next guy by how sharp you can get it... Its tough enough to handle all kinds of abuse but that's not what I want to use it for nor will I use it as a Hunting knife.. (I have a proper hunting knife for that!) 10/10 Knife.

The Gentlemen's EDC that I've waited eight years for...
I've looked for a discreet, classy knife with a Quality Blade that has Easy Access, Authority, Excellent Finish, and Affordability. I looked for Eight Years. I FOUND IT. Slim, classy, ikbs pivot, vg-10 razor blade, liner lock, AND discreet pocket clip. I work in an office; this extraordinary knife draws No Undesired Attention. It's made by Boker Plus - in China. Not my favorite attributes, but it's Very Hard to Argue with Results like THIS. The fit & finish are peerless. I've just ordered a second one - with cocobolo grips - I'm hoping for the Level of Quality that my present knife has!

I always carry a folder .....I am not a use a knife for protection type ,but I do love knives ,I collect for fun too ! However when I got this Boker something clicked ...it has always been weight and bulk . This now finally will be the perfect every day to carry in my pocket ! And this Boker urban takes the cake ! I am sure the designer now will be very busy following this formula ,and the variations will be sought after .......I plan to follow with the new Damascus flipper !...money coming !

Elegant knife with unimposing looks. Stronger than it looks and holds an edge well. Not spring assisted but with a little practice opens easily with the flipper. I've had it close to a year with no issues.

I always carry a folding knife in my pocket and am always aware of said knife rubbing against my leg and weighing my pocket down. Enter the Urban Trapper! It is the perfect sized knife for EDC. It opens flawlessly, locks up well and has a great blade/edge - plus it is nearly weightless. It is the best folder I have ever carried.

If you are looking for a perfect everyday carry, this is it. The Urban Trapper Flipper opens effortlessly, locks solidly and has a blade that is razor sharp and holds it edge. The light slim profile comfortably fits in any pocket and does not weigh you down. Don't be fooled by the light weight handle, it is strong and well contructed.

Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material
Cons: Pocket Clip
Steel issues
I bought it for its long thin blade and low weight. The blade is easy deployable and there is almost no blade play. Great! Ive used it mostly to cut/prepare food when travelling, it makes a nice steak knife. What dissapointed me was the quality of the steel. The edge rolls pretty easily (cutting through 5 cm of a thin metal pill blister was enough). It is also prone to micro chipping. Another thing I didnt like is the clip. Given the slender design of the blade, its clumpsy. Shortly: its stylish and pleasant to handle. Its good for cutting sausages and opening parcels, but the blade steel is no better then on knives for half its price.

I purchased this about 18 months ago. This knife has everything I want in a gentleman's folder. I really wanted to love it and I did, until I realized the liner lock did not keep the blade from folding. I have purchased and owned dozens (and dozens) of liner lock knives and I think this is the only one that I could get the lock to fail on command without trying too hard. I'm "sure" it was a one off manufacturing mistake by Boker and perhaps they would have fixed or replaced it under warranty, but alas I didn't try that. I threw it in my kitchen knife drawer and used it there for awhile before I got fed up and tossed it. At this price point I would really expect more. If it had a working lock and a deep carry clip it would still be in my pocket today.

awful ergonomics in every way
Very thin and feels awful in your hand in every possible way. You go to the flipper tab and thats sharp and doesnt feel nice on your finger. Once its open you grab it in your hand and it feels like you are grabbing a pair of chopsticks with sharp edges. When you close it and has a sharp liner lock you need to press into to close. It's a nice design too look at but not awful ergonomics
