Initial impressions
I think that the knife looks even better in person than in the photos on the KnifeCenter site or in the recent video of the knives of the week. The blade looks to me as being upswept. While the knife is on the small side, it provides a very solid and comfortable grip that makes for accurate cutting. One feature that deserves special note is that the micarta inlay is an overlay as well as an inlay, and because it is thick and stiff, you can grip the knife firmly without putting any pressure on the detent or the locking mechanism. That makes the knife incredibly easy to open each and every time. Since I don't use pocket clips (except when i need to hold onto one to get a knife open), I took it off. I think that improves the feel of the knife slightly, and I think that the knife looks fine without it.
