Bestech Knives

In another collaboration with Ostap Hel, Bestech Knives brings another high-end folding knife with the Lito. The Lito has a very modern design aesthetic and a pronounced finger groove. The titanium handles fit snugly into your hand and is extremely well-balanced, making the blade feel nimble and precise. The blade is made from M390 stainless steel with a skinner design that provides a ton of belly. The blade rockets out with a single push of the thumb studs thanks to the excellent pivot construction and locks up firmly with a frame lock. The knife is finished off with a wire pocket clip that molds to the profile of the handle perfectly. This is one of our favorite designs from Ostap and Bestech and, with its combined design elements, it's not hard to see why.

Initial impressions
I think that the knife looks even better in person than in the photos on the KnifeCenter site or in the recent video of the knives of the week. The blade looks to me as being upswept. While the knife is on the small side, it provides a very solid and comfortable grip that makes for accurate cutting. One feature that deserves special note is that the micarta inlay is an overlay as well as an inlay, and because it is thick and stiff, you can grip the knife firmly without putting any pressure on the detent or the locking mechanism. That makes the knife incredibly easy to open each and every time. Since I don't use pocket clips (except when i need to hold onto one to get a knife open), I took it off. I think that improves the feel of the knife slightly, and I think that the knife looks fine without it.
