110 classic vs pro

Great version of an already time tested classic. In comparison the aluminum is much lighter. I like the screw fasteners over the rivets. It can be disassembled if necessary. The handle material has superior moisture resistance. The blade has a bit more pronounced clip. I removed the dual sided thumb stud. I took away from the blades thin profile being used to a classic 110 look. I am looking for a single sided thumb stud to fit without any modification to blade hole. Nice pocket clip. I do like a sheath though. Overall very satisfied. I miss the weight of the brass. If you have little experience with a 110 I would recommend the classic which is readily available and move up to the pro if you like the style. It is a lockback and that is an archaic mechanism

Legend, reborn?

Believe it or not, this is my first 110!!! (I know crazy, since I own 10 Buck knives, and 20 overall knives...Slight problem.) I've always liked the 112, and have a few of those, recently got the Sport version of the 112, and loved it so much as a pocket carry with the modern upgrades, that I had to try the 110. It's light for such a big EDC, it rides well in the pocket, and is very solid, sharp as every Buck I've ever bought. The modern construction is a HUGE plus, but now having this one, makes me want an original 110 as well as a custom....I feel my knife collection growing as I type this. Also love the updated packaging, makes it feel like special purchase. Knife Center shipping super fast, and knife came in flawless. My go to website for my habit.

Buck stepping up their game!

This knife is a dream come true for me, after inheriting my grandpa’s 110 30 years ago I had always wished they had a modern version and they almost got it right with the slim pro but they didn’t have the bolsters now here this one comes along checking off all the boxes of my dream 110 bolsters and all. Grandpa would love it.

110 Perfection

I use this as my EDC when I'm not wearing a belt, as it's lighter than my classic 110 and doesn't require a sheath to carry comfortably. Had no trouble using the thumb studs to open the knife, they works as intended. Haven't tried sharpening the knife yet as it's razor sharp out of the box. I will say that I stropped it on my thigh while wearing a pair of jeans and that only enhanced the edge. The edge looks clean too, I can tell they took extra care sharpening this line of knives over the classic 110 line with the brass bolsters. All in all, with the upgraded steel, lighter weight, and ability to disassemble the knife for cleaning if needed, it's totally worth the $145

Fantastic!!!

Finally, a fully modernized Buck 110 and it comes in at a decent price. Extremely light in the hand, easy one handed opening and a deep carry point up pocket clip. All screw construction is a fantastic uograde and the S30V steel blade is excellent. Well played Buck, well played.

Perfect

Everything this classic deserves to be as a modern knife. One handed opening, pocket clip, modern steel, and half the weight. Buck hit every mark on this knife.

Perfection

I love this knife!! I have always love the Buck 110 when camping and around the house but out in public I don’t like having knives or other items outside the waist belt. I like having them consealed. The Buck 110 Hunter Sport hit it out of the park! Made In The USA, Lighter weight, pocket clip, S35VN steel, and one handed opening! This is now my everyday carry!! Thank you Buck!
