Pros: Ease of Opening, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Pocket Clip
Case goes modern
Who would have thought, Case of all people would introduce a frame lock flipper knife. I had to buy one to see for myself and immediately upon opening my package, which arrived from knifecenter in very short time, I was shocked. First, the new packaging they used for the knife is very well done and considerably better than higher priced brands. The knife itself is very nice as well. The flipper tab is large enough that its nearly impossible to fail opening it and the bearings ensure it flies open on the first try. The detent is strong, which makes closing it somewhat of a chore, but hopefully it will break in with some time. The blade was centered nicely, there was no play in the open position or closed. Lockup is a little early, but sufficient. The blade is rather thick, the tanto point itself is somewhat short but effective for piercing. The factory edge is plenty sharp, a bit toothy. The only gripe I really have is the pocket clip, it functions fine as a clip, but because of its size it has a hot spot when held in the hand. Overall very satisfied with the knife and service from knifecenter.
