The ergonomics are great and it is super slicey out of the box. The button lock feels very good, as does the flipper, love to fidget. The button lock spring is susceptible to corrosion. May require a little bit more care then a liner or frame lock but it's worth it.
I use this for processing cardboard. The blade arrived sharp and in a usable state. It's a handsome knife, especially given the price. Flipper action is smooth. On closing, I find the blade can bounce a bit off the frame, but that's likely just my technique. YMMV. Feels like a solid household utility knife to me. It's not heavy for its size, but it is too big and too heavy for what I would carry everyday (which is a Spyderco Dragonfly 2). I would not take into the bush on the regular, but there are few folders (outside of my SAK RangerGrip) that I would take. However, if I had it with me, I would feel confident using it to manage cordage and feather-sticking. It does not have a sharp spine at all (which you can look at as a plus for its intended use). Very satisfied by this purchase. It is my first civivi.
Flipper tab will open knife but pressing button to close it either doesn't close all the way or bounces partly back open
