Absolutely fantastic

This knife was a very pleasant surprise. If you’re worried about the button release to close the knife getting in your way I can say after daily use that it absolutely does not. It functions perfectly and while holding the knife you don’t feel it. You have to take the knife in both hands and deliberately go to close it to make the mechanism work. The blade steel sharpened up quite nicely on the wet stone, it’s a 3” Blade so it’s very compact and the knife itself is smaller than you think it would be but it fits perfectly in the hand. I could go on and on but I highly recommend this knife. Whether EDC or defense you’ll find it to be an amazing edition.

Really very good, just a couple tweaks would make it great.

Things that are great about it: Like most FOX Knives products, the overall build quality is very good. The knife feels incredibly secure in the hand and there is almost no need to re-position your grip after opening. The flipping action is very snappy and the blade locks up tight with absolutely no play. The push button lock is unique and requires a bit of practice but makes it almost impossible to close the blade by accident. Two details I would have wanted to have known before owning: The combination of coarse G-10 scales and an overly tight pocket clip make the knife ridiculously hard to draw. A tactical blade that won't come out of the pocket is going to put someone in an embarrassing situation. It's a simple fix to smooth a spot on the scale under the clip during manufacturing. I've seen that done on many other knives. The second ding was that the factory edge was really dull. There's nothing wrong with the geometry, they just didn't finish it properly. It took about ten minutes with my KME sharpener to correct the problem but at this price level, it shows a lack of attention to detail. Final Thoughts: When I saw this knife on YouTube, I was as interested in the philosophy of use as I was the item itself. It's a clever design overall and I think it works well. While it could benefit from a few refinements, I'm glad bought it and would probably recommend it to a friend.
