Finally a great gladius
Quite a few companies have designed gladius-inspired machetes and swords, most of which are cheap and forgettable. This sword is quite the opposite, to my extreme surprise. The edges come very well finished and quite sharp along the full length of the blade, terminating in a terrifically strong point. The hardwood and blackened metal in the handle and sheath are both aesthetically and practically pleasing. This looks and works like a sword twice the price or more. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to wield a roman sword, this one is the best bet for your money. It is a bargain, and so far seems to have no major flaws or disappointing aspects. As long as you take care to properly oil/protect the carbon steel blade after use, you will have a lot of stabby, slashy fun with this purchase.
