Excellent Machete
I know you knife junkies out there remember the Fiddleback Forge 12" machete. This blade reminds me a lot of that minus the fancy micarta scales. Sheath is excellent, the thermoplastic handle is decently grippy with a nice hook on the end. The blade came ok sharp but as with most Condor blades a little edge refining is necessary. One cleaned up and sharp it sliced through green vines and branches up to 1" with little effort. The scandi edge near the handle should prove useful but it too need some work to get it to 100%. Overall this is one of the best condor offering in a while. With many of their blades north of $100 it's nice to get a good one back at the old lower level pricing.
