I am not the biggest knife guy. I EDC a knife because my daily chores demand it, but I haven't deeply studied the subject. I bought the Terrasaur about four months ago and have carried it nearly every waking hour since. It is by far the best working knife I have ever used. The blade girth and Scandi grind make it easy to sharpen and it holds an edge for many days. The blade profile provides edges for every task. I even appreciate the aesthetic - it's a working knife: No decoration, nothing to make it look "tactical". It does not draw attention on my hip and if it did, it would just look like the tool that it is. The only flaw I noted out-of-the-box was that the reversible sheath had weaker retention of sheath-to-beltloop than sheath-to-knife, causing it to come away from the loop when drawn, but a pop rivet and carving away some handle material to accommodate the rivet fixed this. I am right-handed and will always wear it spine-forward on my right side, so giving up the reversability is no loss, but having that option to begin with seems like a plus. Otherwise, the sheath has excellent ergonomics; the pommel rides right at belt level with exactly the right degree of flexibility. The whole package tucks neatly and unobtrusively into my jeans pocket and I almost never feel it's there.
