Gritty Button
There’s a lot to like here. Sharp, holds nice in the hand (I have big hands). Nice clip and easy to open. First one returned. Button didn’t work. Very gritty. Like sand in the works. Except this one didn’t lock up or stay closed without an overly healthy opening. Otherwise the blade was a dead fish. Ok, got shipped a bad one. Knife Center was great in the return. Got the new one. Button lock is still gritty, no more dead fish. Gonna keep this one maybe the grit feel will go away or maybe it won’t. My thoughts it’s the same knife I sent back the first time. Can’t say one way or another. Gritty is tolerable if the lock works each and every time. It does. If they’re all like this, then it’s a design issue. If not, then it’s a quality issue. Civivi gets it right with their bottom locks. Smooth and silky operation. Other than the bottom, sturdy, well made knife.
