These CRKT executions of the Voxnaes designs are getting really good. I simply cannot find any issues with this knife. It functioned flawlessly right out of the box. The GRN handle feels high quality and solid in the hand. There is enough texture to provide positive grip without making the knife hard to clean. Opening and closing action is smooth and the lock engages and disengages with no drama. I think both the black coating on the liner and blue anodized backspacer are nice touches. Finally the clip is excellent and features no markings, though it is brightly polished. The blade itself features commendable edge geometry and point placement that gives you tremendous cutting and piercing ability for its size. Heat treating seems pretty ideally executed for a high carbon stainless steel and the edge comes hair popping sharp. Not to mention that this simple edge configuration and choil make this a dead-simple knife to sharpen.

Impressed
I haven't been this excited with a new knife purchase for a long time and I purchased an Enrique Pena along with this . I was most most impressed with the blue back spacer and how sharp it is. This is my new EDC. Fits well in the hand and I love thumb hole openers. I would vote for a more expensive version with handle and steel upgrades but the same exact design and measurements, keeping the blue back spacer and adding same color to the pivot.

Impressive For the Price
Beautiful design, feels perfect for my XL hands. Very smooth open and close, light weight. Blue back spacer is nice considering the $15 price. I just bought a few more, just incase my primary is left behind, or I need to do something warranties won’t cover. I mean, even the recessed screws are a nice touch. If this design didn’t have the lateral blade play, discussed by another consumer, I don’t see how it could score lower than 5 stars.

Nice budget knife, but if you're a lefty, only after modification
Nice budget liner lock knife with thumb hole, sub-3-inch blade, and reversible pocket clip. Out of the box, would be perfect for lefties.. except the thumb hole is obstructed by the scale and liner lock (you can see it in the photos). The fix is simple: I hand-filed and sanded down a cutout in the scale (matching the other side), then used the sanding wheel on my rotary to grind the liner down. Not sure why CRKT didn't do it in the first place.

Nice little EDC
This is a nifty little knife. It's lightweight and sits comfortably in my pocket. The blade deploys smoothly with the thumb hole, but there is a little hitch at the very end as it slides into the lock. The blade is a perfect size and shape for a small folder, nice and sharp. Since it doesn't have steel liners, it doesn't seem as ruggedly built as some, but that helps keep the weight down. I don't think it would stand up to heavy use, but I have my Buck Vantage for that. My one big critique is that it has milled slots and screw holes for the clip on both sides that spoil the aesthetics and smooth feel of the handle. Otherwise, it's a good value.

Can’t keep blade centered…
Nice shape, nice blade, nice feel. Unfortunately any kind of lateral force throws it out of adjustment. I can apply force with my thumb and two fingers and it develops lateral blade play just from that. I have adjusted it several times by retightening the pivot screw and applying blue thread locker but every single time I test it even with moderate force the blade play comes back. Perhaps it needed bronze washers instead of all teflon. Good design, bad construction it seems. I wouldn’t recommend this knife.
