The Flavio Ikoma Linchpin Deadbolt is Simply Great
I now have Flavio Ikoma's Linchpin and Seismic Deadbolts along with Austin McGlaun's Clever Girl. These knives have me wanting more with Deadbolt. I like the deployment of the Deadbolt over any other design, including Automatic of which I have more than a few. These three knives are permanently in my EDC rotation. I didn't think I'd like the Linchpin as much as the Seismic, however, I find the Linchpin's grip to be a bit more ergonomic. The blade is excellent as well. I find the Linchpin to be more controllable for whittling which I enjoy doing. I have more than a few knives in my collection and the Deadbolt design has become my favorite mechanism for blade deployment. Thank you Flavio Ikoma and CRKT.

Unbelievable value on sale
This is one of best knives for the money from CRKT on sale at KC, so glad I didn't wait. It's hard for me to part from hard-earned money, but am super impressed with the Linchpin flipper. The Ikoma design looks incredible but also feels good in the hand, locks up solid, zero play in any direction, safe, and easy to engage/disengage. The blade itself is 1.4116 stainless, best known for its use in Swiss army knives. It's not premium but using S35VN with this much steel would put this in the $150 and up price range. It's on the big and heavy side for EDC, but it can be done with the deep carry clip. The blade size and shape is versatile, allowing the Linchpin to serve as a tactical, utility, hunting or camp knife.
