Fun Knife

For the price tag you can’t really complain or expect too much. This is just a fun little gimmick knife. For those wondering about blade yes there is a good amount but it is only 30 bucks. If you take this knife for what it is you can’t be all that disappointed.

SO COOL!

This knife is one-of-a-kind. PROs: -Affordable. I bought two, and will definitely get more. -Unique. I haven't owned an OTF or another knife that I like fidgeting with more. It's ADDICTIVE. -Ergonomic. This thing is so slim it disappears in a pocket. The lanyard is great and tucks away nicely. CONs: -Sold out fast. I want more to give as gifts/ trades. -The blade came a little dull, but sharpened up easily. Overall, I highly recommend this knife. Its great for everyday tasks, i.e. tape, boxes, 550 cord. Its also a great conversation starter! When someone needs a knife, and you flip that thing out to hand to them, they immediately light up. It's made knives cool again.

Funky

This is a funky knife. In a good way. It is light weight and has no complicated mechanisms. The blade is simply held inside the handle by a magnet on one side scale. To deploy it simply lift the side handle scale and slide the blade out. With practice you can do your own fidgit quick opening if you like. Closing is simply lifting the side handle scale and the blade can slip back into its home. When deployed, the blade is loose. It tightens as you tighten your grip on the handle scales. A novelty knife at a price that is excellent. Well worth it for its funkiness.

Just for fun!

This thing is a blast (from the past). Obviously it’s designed to be a new version of the old promotional knives from car dealerships and auto parts stores. It’s definitely not made for survival but a fun guy to have in your pocket and definitely something completely unique from everything else out there. It’s super lightweight and that may bother people because they might think it feels cheap, but it is what it is, and for the price you’ll enjoy it.

Lots of Fun!

This knife is a lot of fun. It is not a Chris Reeve, but neither is the price. It is a very unique mechanism, that was born from the past, but is definitely living in our future. It is just plain fun and a great conversation piece. I love mine.

Cool unique little flipper dagger

This is a lightweight, sharp, small but fairly durable flipper OTF knife. It is not made for heavy duty cutting or self defense but for small jobs, and to have something that's fun to play with like a fidget spinner, its pretty cool for 40 bucks. A little play in the blade when its open, but not bad considering how the mechanism works. Its not exactly a one-handed operation but it can be done w some practice. I wish it had some rougher texture on it to be easier to grip since its so small and light.

Fun and unique

It's a very fun knife to fidget with and I really like it. However like I have read among other reviewers I would really like to see a more premium version. It needs premium materials all the way around. Tighter action, better steel,more options for blade shape would be really good for me because I'm just not into dagger blades. Noise reduction would be a huge improvement, this thing is clackety! Surely CRKT plans on releasing a premium version of this knife..... I hope! All that being said it's still a fun little knife that will have people asking you lots of questions!

My New FDC

I bought this as an FDC (Fidget Daily Carry) and it fits that roll perfectly even though I’m a lefty. I’d buy again and may buy another just to have a backup. Also, put me on the list if Ted Valerio & CRKT decide to produce an aluminum body version in the future. 👍

Sticks to the fridge!

Doesn't feel solid was my first impression. When extended there is play in the blade. I'd much prefer if the blade was single edge so I could press it with my finger and minimize the strain on the pin. Oh well. It's still unique and phone friendly being plastic and lightweight. Super fast to deploy if you get the right whip action to protect myself against the cardboard pile. Bonus feature are magnets in the handle that let you stick it to things. Overall I would have been happier with the thing if it was 10 dollars cheaper.

a good fidget knife, that's about it

I bought a couple for gifts, I like fidgety knives, Balisongs, otf's, etc. I like the simple funny flipper action, I think it's a pretty clean design. I think the size is good but would be interested in a larger one. There is just a lot of flex in the handle when open and closed, and the blade rocks back and forth when deployed. I'm interested how durable the pin is if you were to stab something. I think of this was an aluminum handle, you could machine it a bit tighter and and would be a better knife. The flex makes this feel like a toy. Make this in aluminum and charge $75 for it and I think it will be a hit, for now it's a fidget toy and a box opener.
