Generally speaking, the only sharp and pointy thing on a knife should be the blade. However, the handle on this knife is filled with sharp, pointy things that make it less than ergonomic. That said, I don’t buy CRK knives for their ergonomics (think ridiculous, painful, sharp, and pointy thumb studs). I buy them for their build quality, precision engineering and manufacturing, world-class warranty, hydraulic action, durability, and the fact that they make me happy (except for the ridiculous thumb studs). Based on my personal preferences, I love this knife. The insingo blade is made for heavy-duty but precise work, the small size makes it a pleasure to carry, and the overall knife is a real beauty to look at. If you are new to Chris Reeve Knives, go with a Mnandi, Sebinza, or Umnumzaan first. The small Inkosi is my least favorite of all, including the Impinda, but my collection and my pockets would seem empty without it. If you like and appreciate CRK, then you will not be disappointed in this one.
