The quality I expect from Cold Steel at a killer price!
I just got it today and I am delighted! Sharp! Really sharp! Very grippy handle, I usually steer clear of any kind of rubber handles but this one is very well constructed., The flipper action is what you always hope for, it seems like spring assist but it isn't. The pocket clip is awesome, plus it is a very thin knife, I wasn't expecting that. I love Mr Crawford's designs, this on really hits the mark. The only place they overlooked was that it could have made the design into a pocket wave open with almost no modification, I am actually thinking of ways to do it. And the Knife Center got this to me in a few days, and at an amazing price. Thank you!

Not too bad
As a fan of cold steel, I own a lot of their products and was skeptical about this Flipper, considering this isn't cold steels typical type of knife. It's a great knife actually, just wish they had an option for partial serrated blade.

Excellent design. Very well balanced, very smooth opening. Razor sharp out of the box. Time will tell how well it holds up to daily use, but for now it's my new EDC. Hopefully the make a version with a higher quality steel.

It’s a budget folder
This is an entry level budget folder that comes with a very tight pocket clip that must be bent in order to be able to insert and retrieve from pocket,as well as to avoid destroying your pants pocket. The rubber inlay doesn’t help matters any,as the clip is flush with the rubber inlay,so bending the clip is a must. The plastic scales leave a bit to desire,as does the entry level 4034 steel. Not sure why the secondary lock was installed as it’s not necessary,because there’s already a liner lock,plus the flipper also serves as additional protection. As I said earlier, this is a decent entry level budget folder,but there’s nothing separating it from the plethora of budget folders from the likes of Kershaw, CRKT, Byrd (Spyderco), Civivi,Ruike, Steel Will, Ontario, etc.

great knife until it fell apart (literally)
A folding knife is a tool. I use it many times per day for a variety of tasks. I do not treat my knives kindly. This knife was durable, right sized, solid to handle and very useful. Then the screws started falling out. First I lost the pocket clip, then the lock button and one or two that hold the knife together. At this price point it is not worth trying to repair it. If (when) I buy another one, I will take it apart and loctite the screws before I put it into service.
