bowie type throwing knives
I believe I have had at least 25-30 sets of throwing knives ranging from cheap novelty store knock-offs to expensive Gill Hibben knives, Almost any knife can be thrown... what makes a "throwing knife" is its durability, point retention, and sure, balance even though balance came be overcome withe practice. (I used to throw mom's kitchen knives before i grew up and got a job) I would say these knives are very well constructed, I would like to see a better sheath. over all the knife is great it is sharp however not "razor" sharp. it dose have a nice weight id say "hefty" the leather wrap around the handle is not the best material but it dose add a ok grip i would recommend these to a beginner thrower. it is always best to learn with heavier knives. on a personal note I love the knives!!!
