2018 edition basic 511

I added this basic 511 to my recent Knife Center order as I have been looking for a good every day carry, multi purpose work knife. I didn't know what to expect from a knife costing less than ten bucks but figured it was worth a chance since my past experiences with Mora knives has been very good. This knife is a happy surprise. The carbon Scandi grind blade is flawless. Not a scratch, nick or burr. Best of all, the blade is truly razor sharp. I have tested it and it cuts paper super slick and clean. The blade is beautifully polished. The spine is a little rough, but what the heck. It is after all a work knife.. The carbon blade will be easy to sharpen if and when necessary. In the meantime a thin coat of oil every now and the should keep the blade ok. This knife is a great buy. I intend to order a couple more to give as gifts before Mora finds out that they have underpriced this model... .
