Best magnacut for the price

It's hard to argue about a knife of this quality at this price point. Probably one of the best Gerber has made. It was pretty sharp out of the box. Ten minutes with a strop and it's downright scary. Some say it doesn't have the same hardness as other magnacut blades. Not from my working with it. Probably one of the hardest I've handled. Easily over 60+ Rockwell. Great sheath that is very well made too, with lots of carry options including left hand carry. Gerber was smart in taking an already proven popular design and then taking it over the top, and at a fair price for what you get.

Very Solid Knife

I am so glad Gerber decided to make their Strongarm in MagnaCut. This has always been a good knife, but the MagnaCut upgrade puts it among the greats. The finish and ergonomics are excellent. Highly recommend!

Great upgraded strongarm

I have used the 420hc version of the Strongarm for many years and love the knife.i was excited to see the Magnacut version being released and jumped on the pre-order list. I have had this out on one trip so far and it performed like a Gerber Strongarm. But with a much better steel. Anyone who is a Strongarm fan should get this version.i am beyond happy with my purchase. I honestly fell in love with this knife all over again. Smart move by Gerber upgrading their best selling fixed blade. I will be getting a second one soon.

Strongarm Magnacut didn't disappoint!

My Strongarm Magnacut arrived very well packaged & pretty dang sharp. Very satisfied with the knife. The sheath functions properly but I'm gonna have to learn to like it. I might create a different way of attaching it to my belt. Time will tell.
