Pros: Weight, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Great quality & focus points throughout
Have had this knife for nearly 2 wks & is now in my top 3 EDCs. The lock function is very ideal: I always appreciate a knife that lets you reinforce the lock on blade, for both open & closed positions. You can disengage & close single-handed, a major plus to me. Handle texture ensures a great grip, and the knife has a good heft - it is heavy for its size but not so much that it's a bother. What I appreciate the most is the design for the assisted opening that requires you to pressure the thumb stud at 45 degrees, rather than 90. I love this b/c I think of a scary mistake I made a few yrs back where I managed to leave a knife out at home and feared one of the stepchildren might tamper with it. Luckily I realized soon enough after leaving home & got my wife to find it before the kids woke up. But the implementation of this assisted-open is such that children can't open it and that's HUGE for me. In fact I had a lot of trouble opening when I received it and thought the knife was defective; then I remembered the details I'd read about pressuring the stud at 45 degrees. I only had one event in 6 yrs where I mistakenly left a knife out, but with this knife IF it happened again I'd feel relief that there'd be no danger involved with my [step]kids. BTW the knife arrived sharp enough to shave the hair off the back of my hand, that's another plus. Been cutting boxes & wires/cables for 8 days with no signs of dulling.
