Nice knife BUT!!
I bought this to add to my skinning collection, so I purchased from Gerber and personally have never been so disappointed in a gerber product (I own several of them) in my life. Pros first. It's sharp Feels good in the hand, well balanced. CONs The blade looks like a piece of metal scavenged from junk yard. Definitely unfinished. The sheath is a totally different story. It looks as if it's made by 10 yr old Chinese kids who never learned to sew! It's light, like a Jean material, with a plastic coffee can lid cut out and glued to the Jean fabric. I wish I could post a picture here to show you. All in all it comes sharpened, and has great balance. And if you have any leather working abilities to manufacture a new sheath, then by all means buy it. If not, go look at a Knives of Alaska Ulu
