KnifeCenter receives the first praise because of there great service and fast shipping. Even during the holiday rush, KnifeCenter did an outstanding job of efficient logistics. Thank you KF for your hard work. The Gerber is sold and true; just like the one I purchased 20 years ago. Of course Gerber updated the appropriate features and the results are sturdy locks for the tools deployed from the handles; updated design on the standard tools; and the inclusion of a metal-cutting replaceable blade. The tolerances on the tool are excellent and tight due to being on a new tool; the tolerances will ease with time and use. Gerber needs the praise for being the first USABLE "one handed opening" multi tool on the civilian market. That feature alone sets them apart even today—they've solidified their mastery of that feature. I will and have recommended the Gerber multi tool to friends and teammates. (One notice: their sheaths are still the way-back belt loop type. But everyone buys a sheath to fit their specific kit loadout, anyway.)

The little helper
I had the Gerber tool for years till it was stolen, but I was not shy to order a new one immediately because it was a great helper to maintenance some aircraft workshop tasks and to fix my Willys Jeep. It`s a great tool.

nice portable combinations of tools
I need to say that this Gerber multi-tool device really shine about possibilities of use even without use all of the tools yet. I decide to buy this one because the normal jigsaw blades handle and the optional standard bits tool kit. Not disappointed. I have use near all the tools included in test and real mode to see how them works and I can say that this one may help you survive in an emergency situation. Really can, and you can change the jigsaw blades or use another Torx, Allen or whatever bits tools if needed, very nice feature. The knife is very sharp and good for some task, but it is not the one you can prefer to cut any cheese of bread at the dinner table. You can do it, the knife is well sharpened to do this, but the tool itself is for this kind of use. The scissors can cut nylon ropes and paracord 550 very easy too. The sandblasted finish if perfect for me. It feels a little heavy in weight because all the items included, but I can go all the day with it on my belt if needed. What make me put the 4 stars only is the hard to open few of the tools. I guess the almost new tight configuration does not help and I need to be careful while open the can opener and the small screw driver, but this may be better with the normal use. I hope... ;)
