Thank you KF for your hard work. The Gerber is sold and true; just like the one I purchased 20 years ago. Of course Gerber updated the appropriate features and the results are sturdy locks for the tools deployed from the handles; updated design on the standard tools; and the inclusion of a metal-cutting replaceable blade. The tolerances on the tool are excellent and tight due to being on a new tool; the tolerances will ease with time and use.Gerber needs the praise for being the first USABLE "one handed opening" multi tool on the civilian market. That feature alone sets them apart even today—they've solidified their mastery of that feature.I will and have recommended the Gerber multi tool to friends and teammates. (One notice: their sheaths are still the way-back belt loop type. But everyone buys a sheath to fit their specific kit loadout, anyway.)
