Great knife, small package
After a long search for a neck dangler I came across this knife. Helle has a great reputation for quality knives. This knife did not disappoint me. Great fit in my medium-large hand. I hardly know when it is hanging around my neck due to low weight. While the handle finish is different than larger Helle knives, it is well made, has great curvature so it fits your grip. Don't be fooled because it appears less fancy than most Helle products. The two hollow rivets thru the handle allow it to be attached to a staff to create a long reach cutting tool. The laminated blade exterior stainless protects the higher carbon cutting steel core blade from corrosion and is easy to clean. The full tang construction adds to the handle strength and helps provide good balance to the knife. The sheath can also be used via the belt loop, although the knife's overall low weight makes it easy to forget you are wearing it so I prefer the neck leather straps. Hope I never lose this knife, but if I do, I will buy another. Best quality neck knife I've owned.
