Excellent pocket knife!!

This knife deserves all the credit it can have, and then some. Hogue knives are looked over, sadly underrated yet marvelously produced. I know some people (including myself) would like to see them offer higher end blade steels in their knives; but you can't fault CPM-154. It has a finer grain structure than 154CM, and it's an all around good steel. One of Benchmade's best sellers that they issue to the military sports 154CM. This knife is just, WOW. I can't get over how impressed I am. The centering is perfect, the blade edge is super sharp, the handle scales are gorgeous, the button lock is rock solid and it's very smooth to open and close. The jimping could be a little more aggressive on the spine and flipper but it's not bad. It fits very comfortably in the hand as well. Also, in case anyone was wondering, the customer service here is very helpful and friendly!

I don't buy expensive knives - till this one

This is the first nice knife I've purchased. I really love it. The selling point was that it's made in America, and I really like the color and size/design. It's super sharp, easy to open and close, and has worked very nicely for everything I've needed it for. I carry it most places because you never know when you might need a knife. Being female my pockets are typically smaller, and this knife fits nicely in them. It's a good all purpose knife - I'm happy I have it. Now I just have to not lose it - because that's why I typically would buy cheap knives.
