Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel, Pocket Clip

Best lightweight quality-to-price ratio

PRO's: Super sturdy for a lightweight/slim design; wharncliffe blade is super useful and keeps the blade tip in material through the cut; CPM-20CV steel/G10; quality/materials to price ratio is about as good as it gets; extra pocket clip cover is not necessary (removed mine to reduce snags), but does get you 2 extra screws; quality control of fitting/grind/edge is top notch. CON's: Index finger position on the grip could be further forward (remove more material in the index finger grip to get closer to blade); Thumb studs are a little too far forward on the blade (makes it super easy toto open), but maybe too far in that it could interfere with cuts close to the grip. Pocket clip is super slidy, almost goes in/out of pocket/pants too easily. All these con's are pretty nit-picky though. Overall, for the quality of materials, attention to detail, and silky smooth action, the Deka is the dark horse in the lightweight EDC category, with not many of the sacrifices made to get this thin/light. Hogue has almost perfected the lightweight carry, and I love that there's a traditional and wharncliffe option.

Excellent

The ABLE lock is much better than the Axis lock in my opinion.

best action in my growing collection

The action is effortless. The engagement of my thumb is always right due to the unique contour of the thumb stud, and requires very little effort to open. The Hogue locking mechanism is similarly effortless...I greatly prefer it to frame or liner locks. I'm not a fan of the color of the handle, but the surface is very grippy. The Wharncliffe blade is beautifully stone washed, and although the look of the shape of this blade is not as aesthetically pleasing to me as some other shapes, it is very effective at slicing, cutting or puncturing safely. When I reach into my knife collection, this is the one that gets the most use. Another big plus for me is that it is made in the USA.

Highly addictive. Tip broke.

It's HIGHLY addictive to fidget with!!! Ferris and sounds great. But that's not what knives are for, I suppose. Looks amazing, as well. Blade is sharp out the box. Having multiple ways to deploy/retract is awesome. Being able to do so one-handed is perfect. My only gripe is that I tried poking through a plastic bottle for a school project for kid, and the tip of the blade broke off! It's small enough that I don't think I want to go through the whole process of trying to contact Hogue, mainly bc I don't want to go without having it for who knows how long. I've had it for about 2 months now.
