The ABLE lock is much better than the Axis lock in my opinion.

best action in my growing collection
The action is effortless. The engagement of my thumb is always right due to the unique contour of the thumb stud, and requires very little effort to open. The Hogue locking mechanism is similarly effortless...I greatly prefer it to frame or liner locks. I'm not a fan of the color of the handle, but the surface is very grippy. The Wharncliffe blade is beautifully stone washed, and although the look of the shape of this blade is not as aesthetically pleasing to me as some other shapes, it is very effective at slicing, cutting or puncturing safely. When I reach into my knife collection, this is the one that gets the most use. Another big plus for me is that it is made in the USA.

Highly addictive. Tip broke.
It's HIGHLY addictive to fidget with!!! Ferris and sounds great. But that's not what knives are for, I suppose. Looks amazing, as well. Blade is sharp out the box. Having multiple ways to deploy/retract is awesome. Being able to do so one-handed is perfect. My only gripe is that I tried poking through a plastic bottle for a school project for kid, and the tip of the blade broke off! It's small enough that I don't think I want to go through the whole process of trying to contact Hogue, mainly bc I don't want to go without having it for who knows how long. I've had it for about 2 months now.
