I purchased this knife for lightweight carry, for those times that I do not need a larger knife. The blade is very sharp and I like the shaped finger nail nook used to open it. The grip is sharp looking with the carbon fiber overlay. It looks delicate but it can cut. The carabiner clip is handy to use when you want to carry it in a backpack. I have pocket carried this in the office since it is so light and slim. It is a very handy knife for me.
I'm not a knife geek, I just wanted a high quality folding knife. This one does the trick but it's downright beautiful. Meticulously engineered and fabricated, it's kind of astonishing.
Awesome little edc. Obviously it's light weight due to it's size but preforms well. Had to turn over my first at a concert so I grabbed another because I love this little knife. Would have left it in the car with my others before the show but over looked it due to it's non-obtrusive carry. It just melts into your pocket and you will never know it's there.
Beautiful knife, not yet used it and afraid to damage it beacause it is so nice ! 😃😉 I think you will think if you will use the carabiner or the pocket clip because the the carabiner spring is in the way of the clip, nut much of a problem to take it out...
This is a very awesome knife lightweight visually appealing that G10 and carbon fiber inlay is very nice. But the lock on this is very awkward to press. If they fix that blade lock this knife would be a 5 star hands down. It is a great knife to add to your pack. That 8Crt13MoV steel holds a edge very nice.
Over the years, I have found that a small, sub 3" narrow blade serves 95% of my needs. An inexpensive one is fine as I lose or gift them with some regularity. After many years of good service from a Natrix, I decided to give the somewhat similar reverb a try. The knife came nice and sharp, finish is quite attractive. The blade centering is very good. On the down side, even freshly oiled opening/closing is very stiff - combined with the small size, this means it is, for me, two hand opening only. It's possible that with use this may improve, but i'm not counting on that. For me this isn't a big deal. The small size along with the smooth finish of the frame make it a little "loose" or slippery feeling in the hand as one might expect. I'm getting used to using a somewhat tighter grip than I'm used to, so far no problem. I think folks with large hands might have a real problem, however. The carabiner spring interferes a bit with getting the pocket clip over the hem of ones pocket. I may try reforming the tip of the clip slightly. Despite my initial concerns, the carabiner cutout and spring do not seem to adversely affect grip comfort. All in all, if a very small knife fits your needs, I would say this is a very nice option, as well as being so cost effective. I like it.
Really well thought out knife and the execution is almost perfect. It really is an ingenious design and the materials are well chosen . Very lightweight and fits well in the hand. I really like that it has a deep carry clip and a very discreet (tiny) one at that. The lock mechanism can be tricky to use to fold the knife which is one downside. My particular example also has tooling marks that are quite visible in the milled out portion of the blade. Overall for the price the value is very high, especially for a knife that is cheap enough to beat on.
I bought this knife as a lightweight, everyday carry, and it's certainly suitable for that. Nice slip profile, slides easily and clips into a pocket, or can hang from the carabiner (which doubles well as a bottle opener). Opens easily, and closes smoothly, once the unique frame-type lock is understood and practiced, though some people might find the inner handle location strange at first. Smooth lines, attractive textures, and ergonomic design which provides good grip even when wet, while keeping the fingers away from the blade. Good sturdy blade shape and length, but could have arrived sharper, as the edge is not particularly crisp on arrival.
Pros: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Lock Ease of Use
good for its size
should be easer to close.
