Where Have You Been All My Life?
What a pleasure! It was perfectly aligned and keenly sharp right out of the box. The mechanism functions smoothly and solidly, not to mention fast as all get out. The 3" blade is perfect for me as I appreciate a smaller (and lighter) size EDC knife. I couldn't be more pleased with this gem of a knife!

Sleek design with MagnaCut
Slim and lightweight with very cool colors on the aluminum scales. Full steel liners and framelock design. Flipper tab deploys the MagnaCut blade with a crisp snap. Blade edge is nearly straight and comes to a distinct point, and was very sharp right out of the box. A great EDC choice, takes up very little space in the pocket.

It’s a leek, what’s not to love?
So it’s a leek made in cpm Magnacut, what more could you want? The action is very smooth, a light push on the thumb stud or pushing on the index finger stud will launch the blade with some speed. It comes razor sharp out of the box, nearly as sharp as spyderco knives come on average. It’s extremely lightweight, the first day I received it I forgot it was in my pocket. The lockup on this one is in good condition which is an issue I’ve had with other kershaw knives. The gradient handles looks fantastic in person. One thing not shown in the picture is the small lock that is on the bottom of the knife near the tip of the blade when closed that acts like a crossbar safety. If you don’t slide the locking bar out of the way the knife will not open. My one gripe is that it’s only a 2 position clip, not sure if a 4 position wasn’t possible but it would have been a nice touch.

Magnacut Leek
The Ken Onion design Leek is the best Kershaw folder. Hollow grind pointy tip. Slim good locks. I bought a magnacut chef knife. Excellent edge retention. After two months thinned behind the edge & made it shaving sharp. This Leek folder I bought too. Edge is decent out of the box. I know because of fine grain structure can make it shaving sharp too. Larrin Thomas magnacut steel is expensive, but worth it. At 129.00 this is a great blade.
