Well done
The biggest blade my hand size can operate while still feeling nimble. Blade heavy compared to the handle, but it balances right the natural index finger placement. Flips really well. Very little wrist action needed for a blade this size. Milling along the spine makes it seem more refined, delicate but not fragile. Copper accents with some extra detail work on the side you'll most often see. Frame lock with an overtravel stop. A G 10 scale milled just to the edge of vibrating like cheap plastic, but not quite over the line. When closing, the blade doesn't drop so fast you can't get your fingers out of the way. And the best thing about it, it sings. If you open and close it slowly, parts of it will ring like a tuning fork. Right at the point of lockup, and again when the blade closes into the detent. It doesn't ring for long. Just long enough to give you a nice feeling of satisfaction.

Not bad (Knocked a point off for tiny flipper)
Nice knife overall. I have large hands and the handle fits nicely. My only gripe is the tiny flipper. The 2075 has a larger flipper that is really nice. With this longer blade, you really need to strike that little flip quite hard and that gets old. Other than that...Very nice purchase on sale.

I purchased the Strata as a work knife of sorts. Our family summer vacation proved successful in getting some really nice blue gill and several large channel cats. I have the job of cleaning the fish and I'm disappointed in the poor quality steel in the filet knives I own. I wanted a fair size blade with D2 steel to hold up cleaning fish. The Strata, being a frame lock and being thin makes it difficult to grasp the knife without putting pressure on the lock. I couldn't budge the flipper at all till I realized the issue. I'm not using the knife for defense but be aware of the issue if that is your intended use. I'm keeping the knife as I like the design and the blade takes a wicked edge.

Definite fan of the blade and handle shape, especially for their slicing and carrying characteristics. Flipper tab fires the relatively large blade quite quickly, and despite no option for a slow roll by a thumb stud or cut-out, fearless users can flick it out with a middle or ring finger. My only complaints are down to D2 frame locks in general, which are present here. Great edge retention comes at the cost of rust, and for a compulsive IWB user, I've noticed some spotting after a hot day. The frame lock is flush with the show side of the scale, so fat-fingered folks may have some discomfort in disengagement, or get hung up on the detent ball and need to restart. Still, it's pretty, a great slicer (or carver: open back means easy cleaning), and carries deep and slim. Great recommendation if you liked the original Espada, Gitano, or Laguiole style.

Not too bad 4 stars
I prefer large handed knives and this fits the bill. The build seems structurally sound and the workmanship is very good to the eye. The only complaint is the flipper tab is pretty small and very tight. My 2075 Kershaw is far better. Hopefully after some adjustments and breakin time the deployment will improve.
