I love this knife. I was looking for an everyday utility carry blade and I had 3 criteria. First, less than 2” blade, great steel, automatic open. This knife excels at all of those. I really like the comfort of a small blade for everyday carry but wanted a premium cutting tool. I work in a trade that uses fine wood carving tools and I wanted a pocket knife that could hold an edge to those standards. I sharpened the knife with my process and got an impeccable edge on the Damascus. I know there are others steels that will outperform Damascus but this blade took a super fine edge and holds it well with use. Its action and fire is that of a fine firearm. The blade snaps open strongly and feels good in the hand for a small knife. Everything about this knife screams quality. I am extremely impressed and feel confident it will serve me well for many, many years.
