This is exactly what I was looking for in my EDC! Great size and weight; very sharp, high quality blade! The flathead and bottle opener are great; the hex tool and carabiner I will probably never use, but that is okay. Glass breaker I will probably never use, but I like that I have it for whatever that situation might be and / or self defense. Recommended if you are looking for an EDC with a few extra perks.

Very nice knife
I really like the way it opens. The tools are of good quality. Is now my everyday carry knife. I bought it as I am in security and wanted a multifunctional tool I could carry.

Great EDC
This is a great EDC knife. I have another flip open, but this Kershaw opens better. The blade is sharp and has helped cut cord and rope quickly without fraying. If taking it to the office did not violate a loosely worded policy it would be in my pocket all the time.

I'm in the Air Force, so having a blade that's quality is a high issue for me. This blade is pretty damn nice, along with the added belt cutter, clip, and bottle opener, it does the job pretty well. The spring loaded opener is nice to, won't have a problem if your hands are small, it can be opened with on hand from the bottom. The 2 attachments on the side of the knife also lock in place, along with that, if the clip is open, the blade won't open, as an added safety feature. It's also light enough to not notice its there with every day use.

Quality product,sharp,fast ,versatile and affordable
Great edc knife for camping and fishing, very useful.added features are well engineered into this compact unit.only complaint being handle material a little slippery but not terrible,a rubber insert would have been better on handle in my opinion, but would have raised cost to manufacture.

Have had the knife for a few weeks now. I use it for everything/anything needed for cutting. Cut down some big cardboard boxes with it. I cut paracord & 660Lb twine line for trot lines this past weekend. Cut tags off the back of shirts, etc. This knife is sturdy, very sharp out of the box, & the blade retains an edge well. A couple of swipes on the diamond stone & its golden. Also, the bottle opener is used more than the blade for me :-)

EDC so far
First kershaw ever owned, I use This thing for everything that needs cutting as a every day carry bottle opener and everything. Would have been cool though if the seat belt cutter would have Been placed on the outside or placed somewhere more accessible, the blade material used for this loses it edge very quickly and has to maintained often, It be interesting to see a remake of this knife.

This Funxion goes above and beyond, having a screwdriver, hex bit, carabiner, and, bottle opener. It also has spring assisted opening, which, is great when I'm wearing gloves. The carabiner is great for that too; I can carry it on a belt loop and not have to remove my gloves to fish it out of my pocket. Excellent all-around value. It easily meets my minimum requirements for a decent edc, which, is that it must have at least serrations, a glass-breaker, and, strap-cutter. I'm impressed with the fine edge; out of the box razor sharp and even after hacking a branch into a spear I barely had to touch it up. The serrations did suffer a little, but, were easily fixed. They did not take their original shape but this is normal for serrations on any knife. I believe that by "breaking them in", they get stronger if that makes sense, at least in my experience. I have been using it daily for several months and it continues to be my most versatile tool.

Great Multi-tool
Received it razor-sharp and it still holds that edge surprisingly well. It was great to have at work since you can hang it from almost anything and I wear gloves so the carabiner made it easy to access. I took it to the woods on a trip and used it to carve a spear. The fine edge held up perfectly but the serrations all folded. It wasn't a big deal to reset them but it lost the pointy tips. The serrations are still sharp and work fine but suffered aesthetically. Also, the assisted opening mechanism wore out quickly and it opens much slower than in the beginning, so, that bothers me a little. I feel like I don't ever really own the knife if I have to return it for replacement or repair over something like that, so I don't know. If not for that I'd given it more stars.
