Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: None
Solid eye-candy knife
This knife is a typical Kershaw Speedsafe- it always opens authoritatively. It is slightly on the heavy side, but solidly constructed. My only complaint is that the knife is not centered, which is a moderate annoyance, but it performs well. Color gets attention.

Pros: Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use
Cons: Handle Material, Lock Type
Good thing it's very pretty
I bought this as a kind of makeshift set of all the black & blues that Kershaw makes, and well they all have the same issue created by different failings. That issue being that they just aren't fun to hold and fidget with. I was never going to use them because I don't want them scratched. The Outright, prettiest of the set, doesn't flip very well. The spring assist starts strong, but after 5-10 flips it stops making it to lockup. It's as if the expansion from the heat generated in the pivot is enough to overpower the spring. The frame lock on the Outright is the best of them all. I'd even go so far as to call it "good". But it should have had an overtravel stop. And the handle, blue aluminum with an almost matching blade, finely textured G 10 layer. I love G 10, but this knife should have had a polished carbon fiber layer instead. It would have made it just that much more eye catching. You'll find a slightly different version of this review on the Natrix and Natrix XL pages, And a very different versions on the Reverb XL page. I'll end this the same way I started it; good thing it's very pretty.
