Great kitchen knife for small jobs
I have a number of high quality German knives that I use for most of my chopping and slicing. However this is the knife that I use for most daily tasks where those expensive knives would not be appropriate. I open boxes from Amazon, open letters, cut garlic and jalapenos, scrape glue off glass, etc. I use it because it works and I can easily replace it. Never have had to replace it though because it is quite sturdy and sharpens easily. Also love that it looks like a well used and much sharpened knife from a grandparent. Just bought five for gifts.

PERFECTLY DESIGNED PARING KNIFE
The cutting edge being tapered back from the front of the handle gives excellent control!!!! For peeling fruits, cutting vegetables

Favorite paring knife of all time
My father had a Lamson & Goodnow paring knife that was shaped like this just from sharpening it over the years. I grew up using this knife and nothing could replace it until I found this one which has exactly the same blade profile! No other blade profile gives you the control that this one does while paring and peeling.
