My Real Steel Stella knife has it hidden lanyard hole in the frame that would only accept a single 2 mm strand of paracord, such that I could not use a pre-made lanyard that would Loop through the lanyard hole. I used this lanyard bead to attach the two Loose Ends of a single strand of paracord which was much easier than the processed described in the prior review of this product. I did lightly melt both loose ends of the Paracord and then inserted them into the bead. At first I couldn't get the screw back in to lock them down but then I realized that the inside of the bead is a tapered cone and that the mating surface on the Locking screw is a tapered cylinder that makes into the tapered comb, such that all I had to do was not insert the Paracord ends as far into the bead. This allowed the point of the tapered cylinder on the screw to get between them and firmly squeeze them between the surface of the tapered cylinder and the tapered cone and the bead so that they are absolutely locked in place and will not come loose. Also, the compression of the Paracord against the Locking screw effectively acts as a thread Locker so that it will never unscrew itself. I love the facets on this bead and it is a great little product.
