LionSteel TiP Titanium Lanyard Bead, Gray - TIP GY

MSRP* : $37.38 | You Save* : $9.43 (25%)

The TiP solves the age-old knife/bead/lanyard problem; what to do with the end of your lanyard once you've secured your bead on there? Engineering, that's how. This small titanium bead features a closing screw that pushes against the lanyard cord, locking it to the interior of the pearl. This creates a clean look and allows you to tie lanyards shorter so they aren't as obtrusive and more efficiently as all it takes is a Torx screw to secure. The bead and the locking system are designed for a 5/32-inch lanyard of around 4 mm (550 paracord) and it measures 12 mm wide by 14 mm long.

Titanium Handles
Titanium Handles A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.

Great product (once I figured out what I was doing)
This bead arrived without instructions and I thought it would be easy to attach to my lanyard but after fidgeting around for what seemed like forever I was getting frustrated because once the cord was inside the bead there wasn’t enough room to get the holding screw to thread in. I finally came up with a solution that I will try to describe to hopefully help someone else in the same situation. After threading both ends of the paracord into the bead, trim both and fray / fluff up the ends then apply a flame to melt both ends and quickly pull the molten ends inside the bead then screw the locking screw down tightly. This lets the post displace the soft molten plastic and let’s everything go together flawlessly. The bead is top quality and hey, Titanium!
