As an EDC do-it-all this LionSteel is at the top of my list. It has high quality materials and a simple flipper on a great bearing. The styled titanium looks even better in the hand than in pictures, as does the G-10. The M390 blade's finish may not appeal to everyone, but the very light weight will.

Great grip, flips very smoothly and quietly, disappears in pocket and so far titanium side of handle far more resistant to scuff and scratches that my other titanium handle knives. I am a spyderco fan, but have to admit this is more refined and pocket friendly than my spyderco positron. Great knife and a long term keeper.

Bacame my prefered EDC almost instantly Beautiful craftmenship And I love the M390 steel: took me 15 min or so, to get it shaving sharp snd it has not lost the egde yet. The knife is supprisingly light and fits into all my pockets comfortabily. Cons May not be an issue for other people, however, the carry clip is so stiff. it will just as easily pierce as latch on. I personally prefer a a deeper 'hook'/catch to a stiff clip.

Pros: Perfect EDC knife, light, great balance & ergos., M390 blade shaving sharp, #1 materials. Everything is Perfect about this knife in all respects, except. Con: Weak detent for the flipper, just needs a bit of wrist action to deploy.

Lionsteel TRE G-10 flipper
All in all this is a very nice EDC knife. The weight is just light enough and the length is just short enough. If the handle length was any longer I probably wouldn't like it. I love how thin it is. The milled out titanium is awesome. The G-10 is textured very nicely. The M390 blade steel is probably the main reason I bought this knife. The blade is the best part of the knife and is centered really well too. The lock up is really nice. No blade stick for me. Blade travel is a little rough while opening but still smooth enough if you're flipping it opened. I don't like the pockect clip. When releasing the frame lock with my thumb to close the knife my fingers squeeze against the pocket clip on the other side which pushes back on the frame lock making it difficult to close up the knife. That took some time and messing around with different hand grips to help that problem. The detent seems good. However, the flipper requires wrist action to deploy the blade the whole way which, honestly, I don't mind. The pivot works loose after awhile of flipping the blade open and close. That's disappointing but you can use a torx and lock tite to help. Overall quality is good to great for the price point.

This is a good little knife. I especially like the design touches such as the milling on the Ti and G10 and the pocket clip. However, I initially couldn’t get the action on mine working very well at all. It was sticky and ‘lumpy’ through the arc of opening. I pulled it apart and lubricated the bearings, but there wasn’t much improvement. It was the detent ball on the lockbar causing the drag. Once lubricated it was smooth and fast. Very useful blade shape but intrusion by the flipper tab when open means you can’t use (quite) all of the handle to grab the knife. It’s still secure and comfortable though. Excellent grind and steel and came extremely sharp. I generally have this knife in my pocket now, so it’s seen plenty of use and a light stropping returns the edge to new. M390 is good stuff. I’d love a 3.5” version. (Don’t say KUR.)

Such a beautiful example of the knife maker's art. So close to perfection but, sadly it carries tip up only. What a shame! Too bad designers take the the easy way out and put the clip on the end of the knife with no lock or opening mechanism. This is a great design that, unfortunately, I would never carry as tip up is dangerous. I have the scars to prove it. Maybe next time they'll get it right...

I use this knife for EDC. It is extremely well made. Like a work of art that works. I'm probably stupid to spend $200 on a knife like this to use for EDC and basically trash it, but what good is it doing me at home in a drawer.. What I like about this knife: Frame lock works great Blade is thick. Not flimsy at all Very light weight while being incredibly sturdy Again - it is a work of art - no flaws anywhere. Perfect size and weight Pocket clip is nice and made of titanium. Not an afterthought like on many brands. I've seen some better flippers, but this one works fine. I bought both this and a ZT 0450 together and returned the ZT. I liked this one far better

Build quality of this thing is top notch. It is compact, the blade is sharp, the material is premium. I have always been a fan of flippers. This one, however, is not an assisted flipper and probably needs to be. I cannot flip it hard enough to get the blade all the way extended without also using my wrist. The first day I got it I tried to flick it hard enough to open it and actually cut my finger on the very sharp G10 scale. It is also not reversible (at least in this trim) and, as a lefty, that is a bummer. The pocket clip is also not as good as many other knives and does not allow a deep carry. Bottom line is that it sits in my drawer 100% of the time and I always reach for other knives to carry.
