Bought this from KC many years ago. Used it for cutting paper and pineapples then stashed it away for years. The san mai damascus pattern is still the most attractive blade finish available IMHO, and it remains corrosion-free, but the action remains tight after many years of use. In fact it loosened up a bit but the blade went off-center so I had to tighten it with a flat-head screwdriver. I know right. Really want to give this 5 stars because of the blade, but that action is just too tight for too long
